Google Uses Plastic Bottles To Create Machine Washable Phone Case!

Google said the most important highlight of the case is its material - made of 70% recycled plastic, making it an environmentally friendly idea. Two waste plastic bottles can create five mobile phone shells.

In terms of protection, Google said the case uses "edge to edge microfiber" to prevent falling damage. The case also has a convex edge, which can raise the screen slightly to prevent collision damage when the phone is placed face down on a surface.

With the continuous promotion of circular economy, technology brands have invested in recycling to reduce resource consumption, help environmental protection and promote sustainable development.

Dell is committed to using 100% sustainable packaging made from recyclable or renewable materials by 2030. Earlier, Dell launched two new XPS series laptops with sustainable packaging materials.

HP promises to eliminate 75% of disposable plastic packaging by 2025 and actively promote recycling. HP is also committed to using marine waste plastics. For example, HP received the UL world's first marine recycled plastic content verification earlier. This time, HP has passed the verification of 5 kinds of resins from marine recycling. After UL verification, these resins contain 5% - 99% of marine recycled plastics.

HP said it would continue to expand the use of marine plastics, promising to use marine plastics in all new HP elite and HP Pro desktop laptops launched in 2020. HP also invested $2 million to build a cleaning line in Haiti, where it will produce cleaner, higher quality recycled plastics for use in more HP products.

Microsoft promised to eliminate disposable plastic packaging by 2025, including plastic film, major product packaging and it product packaging in data centers. Microsoft will also set up a "closed-loop center" to enable the company to reuse or recycle 90% of its waste on site without having to send it to a third-party recycler. One of the big projects of Microsoft's internal recycling is the server used in Microsoft's data center. The company is committed to zero waste in the internal production process.

LG is committed to recycling 95% of its waste from its production base by 2030, specifically by reducing the waste from overseas commercial sites, and improving the landfill rate of waste from factories in South Korea (mainly the production base of Guiwei A3 in South Korea).
